Marti and I are just regular people who want to help you apply what God has taught us to break the chains of addiction and daily struggles and LIVE in the FREEDOM God has given us in Him! Originally from a small town in the high country of Colorado, Carrie Hargrave has lived in Grove since January 2021. She is married to Robert & recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary.  They are proud parents of 2 adult boys & a daughter, Ashelen, 15.

Carrie loves serving her community & spends most of her free time volunteering for various ministries in Delaware County & is the current Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Christian Mission Resale Shoppe.
Carrie has been a sober member of a 12-step recovery program since August 20, 2012, & frequently attends several meetings in the area. She considers it her duty and a pleasure to share the program of recovery with those who struggle with alcohol & addiction & believes this is not something we can do alone, it is only possible with God, Jesus & connection with others.

My name is Marti Schaack.
I am a retired Journeyman Lineman but since retirement I have started a construction business.  I have a beautiful wife, three grown children, and two grandsons.  In my spare time I am an avid hunter and love spending time with my grandchildren.  For me leading a life group means meeting new people and helping them stretch and grow in Christ, and not just them, for myself also.
